Our computer crashed a few days before Christmas. Some nice timing there, eh?
I had just turned it on when a text appears on the screen and says that a system file is damaged, with instructions of what to do to repare it. I tried several times. Nothing happens, the stupid bitch just continues to bleep with the same warning!
So we re-installed XP. The computer works again, but all my files and documents, the Anti-Virus, hardwares like Microsoft and everything on the disc is gone. The tricky thing is that we have two operative systems to choose between, one of them being the old one with the stuff, only that we can't reach it. I can view and play my files, but they don't lie on my user. So now we're trying to figure out how to repair the missing file which started all this shit since we've tried but with no success. Until then I'm stuck with a hard disc just as empty as Pamela Andersons head, not daring to enter any other websites than Google, Lexi or dA.
Better move on to some happier topics. The entire grade 7 had a schoolplay were we performed Snow White. Each class where split into two groups, in which one group from one of the classes would get to perform for the 6th grade. I got the role as Snow White Not that I hated it, she was an okay character, not too many lines. I also think that it fitted best for me to be her, not trying to act cocky or anything, just meaning that since I'm practically 6 feet tall (and over that with shoes) and the other students in my group are several inches shorter, it would make them appear more as the dwarfs. And some people even told me that my acting was good~~
Had a nice christmas too. Lots of food, presents and celebrating with my relatives. Our christmas tree wasn't that much of a succeed though. Short, fat and distorted in shape too There was also one part in the tree which was bare of branches. At least it gave everybody a laugh! When we decorated the house I went loose on our oranges with those clove thingies. I made one with a sad face and smiley on the other side, one with a traditional cross and another one with a spruce. Ish very proud of them! And in presents I got new clothes, My Neighbour Totoro on DVD, games to my PS2, eye-liner, a book and charms to my bracelet.
And I turned 14 a few weeks ago, woohoo!! Though it doesn't matter that much, suddenly it doesn't feel like my birthday is important, or like it's fake, as if I haven't gotten a year older this year. But it's not like I expected it to be that way either I also graduated to yellow belt in Taekwon-Do finally!
I've also become friends with that manga otaku in grade 9 lately, Marcus. He's really funny, crazy and nice too, my first male buddy in history ever. I mean it! Unlike all other guys in our age he isn't dumb and incompetent, doesn't act macho and, at least how it seems to me, doesn't try to be somebody else. Likes yaoi, too He's bi and said once when we walked home together that when you are bi you aren't obsessed with appearances or the gender, you just care about the inside. Sounds great... I normally feel clumsy and insecure just by approaching any boy who isn't my relative, but with him it's easened He seems to like me too. I've also gotten a lot of compliments from him, sure it makes me happy but I'm wondering if he's developing a crush or something. He told me once that I'm the girl he's gotten most close to compaired to all others, and he even said during a party: "Man, I can't stop looking at you! You're just gorgeous". It probably isn't like that, but if he eventually would fall in love; how do you notice? I can never ask right out, too embarassing if he hasn't even considered the thought. But I don't want to be a blockhead either and fail to notice if he'd be showing all kinds of hints and flirt. And when it comes to myself I don't really know, right now I'm just content with us being friends...
